Once again this year, the Juridicum Team was able to make a name for itself with outstanding successes in the context of the 29th Willem C. Vis Moot.

After Katarina Marko, Celine Moser, Lukas Petschning, Silke Schusser, Laura Stickler and Andra Tofan were able to win the prestigious Lisbon Vis Pre-Moot in the course of their preparation, this run of success continued at the Vienna Finals.

Among 362 universities, the team  placed in an excellent 5th place in the overall ranking (General Rounds) and thus advanced to the knockout phase of the event. After impressive performances against teams from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Indonesia and Hong Kong, the team even advanced to the quarter-finals and ultimately won 5th place.

For their performances, team members Lukas Petschning and Katarina Marko also received awards for "Best Individual Oralist".

In addition, the team also demonstrated its skills in the categories for written memoranda.The 6 "Mooties" were awarded an "Honorable Mention" (Top 19/380) for their Claimant's brief and the Fali Nariman Award (runner-up) for their memorandum on behalf of Respondent.
