General Information

The Competition takes place: 08.07. - 12.07.2023

The CDRC is chaired by the International Bar Association (IBA), the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and the European Law Student's Association Austria (ELSA). Given the increasing importance of alternative dispute resolution methods in practice, the CDRC aims to establish itself as an internationally recognized platform for students and practitioners. In contrast to other student competitions (moot courts), the CDRC is open not only to students of law, but also students of economics who wish to demonstrate their talent in the field of negotiation and dispute resolution. Allgemeines

Der Wettbewerb findet statt: 08.07. - 12.07.2023

Die CDRC steht unter der Schirmherrschaft der International Bar Association (IBA), des Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) und der European Law Student's Association Austria (ELSA). Angesichts der in der Praxis zunehmenden Bedeutung alternativer Streitbeilegungsmethoden soll sich die CDRC als eine international anerkannte Plattform für Studierende und Praktiker:innen etablieren. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Studentenwettbewerben (Moot Courts) steht die CDRC neben Studierenden der Rechtswissenschaften insbesondere auch Studierenden der Wirtschaftswissenschaften offen, die ihr Talent im Bereich Verhandlung und Streitbeilegung unter Beweis stellen wollen. Requirements for participation in the CDRC Mediation and Negotiation Competition       

• Good knowledge of the Englisch language
• Completion of the course "Mediation for Lawyers"
• Completion of the course "Business Mediation" and "Communication in Conflict Settlement" are advisable
• Doctoral and Erasmus students are also welcomed to participate

 

Voraussetzungen für die Teilnahme an der CDRC Mediation and Negotiation Competition

• Gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache
• Abschluss des Kurses "Mediation for Lawyers"
• Absolvierung der Lehrveranstaltung "Kommunikation in der Konfliktregelung" und "Wirtschaftsmediation" ist erwünscht
• Doktoratsstudent:innen und Erasmusstudent:innen sind herzlich eingeladen hier teilzunehmen
