Inhalt / Content

Introduction to the System and application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Particular emphasis lies on the influences of different legal systems on the Convention and ist development and Interpretation. This course is compulsory for those participating in the "Moot Court International Commercial Arbitration".

Course assessment:

Written take-home exam: case discussion of a CISG case at the end of the course.

Type of materials allowed for the exam:

For the case discussion, students are encouragend to rely on different legal sources such as case law and literature.

Course Validation:

Passing of the exam.
